One brand identity design for ONMSD’s 30 entities.The Office of the Nursing and Midwifery Services Director (ONMSD) works to strategically lead and support nurses and midwives to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
The ONMSD includes 8 Nursing and Midwifery Planning and Development Units (NMPDUs), 20 HSE Centres of Nursing and Midwifery Education (CNMEs) and The National Clinical Leadership Centre. All these entities used to have their own brand identity design, which could make communication challenging. From 2019 to 2022 they all shared the same icon. Since then they have simplified even further by using the HSE logo only. |
We rebranded to illustrate a circle that denotes continuity and the N & M letters signify the importance of the connectivity between the two professions. In order to symbolise Nursing and Midwifery in Ireland, these words are made prominent in the logo.
