The priority of the design brief was to match the existing INDI branding. The A works well as a triangle shape. And the classic food pyramid is still as valid as ever before.
The client, Nuala Woulfe, wanted her branding for the Serenity Day Spa updated. However, she wanted to keep certain elements from the existent branding, including the two S's for the icon. Here's the old logo:

Important channel diversification: Develop a name and visual identity for a Medical Aesthetic ‘clinic’ to replace the current Nuala Woulfe Beauty Salon on Glasthule Road in Sandycove.
A new word, a new meaning; 'nu' are the first two letters in Nuala Woulfe's name. It also sounds like the word NEW which works well for this clinic as that's how you will feel after a treatment in this wonderful clinic. The logo communicates a clean and professional environment for the most experienced skin clinic in Dublin.
I requested May to come up with some ideas re name, branding & logo for my clinic Nu Aesthetics in Glasthule. I found May very professional to deal with. She listened to the brief and designed a logo to match. I can happily recommend May.
