Over the past year, Frank Dillon and Malcolm Connolly of DTT have worked with Trumpet Brand & Design on creating a clever new design which incorporates our Castles, the sea and our very clean environment. We hope you like our all new DTT Logo.
Graphic design of brand identity for Mandalsadvokatene, a solicitors company based in Mandal, Norway. Having done a few initial sketches by hand, the below image shows some of the designs that I developed a bit further. A lover of typography, I enjoyed merging the two letters M (as in Mandals) and A (as in Advokatene).
I am very pleased with the logo and the stationery and the signage that May designed for our solicitors company Mandalsadvokatene. I can highly recommend May for her graphic design skills.

Matt Jones is an award winning art school trained wood turner who makes and designs a small range of beautifully functional items from his workshop in the wilds of County Sligo. He is inspired by nature and his rugged surroundings. He is ethically minded and environmentally conscious. After five years in business and successfully building a strong and loyal customer base Matt was at the stage where he had outgrown his ‘start up’ identity. He needed a new fresh approach, which strongly communicated his credentials, awards, and new products but that it also communicated his ethical stance, his story and personality in such a way that it attracted new customers and strengthened the relationship with his existing customers.
We carried out desk research focusing on the wood turning market and giftware market. We undertook a SWOT analysis of Matt’s business, analysed his product portfolio, reviewed his routes to market, positioning in the craft market and the giftware market, his customer type and how he communicated with these customers.
A marketing plan was developed which acted as the blue print for subsequent marketing and design activities. This plan gave direction, insight, clarity and set measurable targets for new products, pricing, design, look and feel, market positioning, tone of voice and visual imagery.
Customer personas developed to focus all marketing and design work. New identity created which supported Matt’s work, personality and business direction. New products added to the range to give existing customer, more opportunity to buy in to the range and more choice for new customers. Defined sales and communication channels including social media channels, customer database, press and PR. New brand identity, tagline and branded marketing materials. Redesigned website keeping his Etsy sales channel. mattjoneswoodturner.com

Declan McKeon of McKeon Homes is based in County Kildare and has been in the building business for over twenty years. With the business growing and customer interest increasing the company was ready to develop a refreshed identity, market positioning and website to convert interested customers, appeal to a new customer base and strengthen the relationship with current customers so to facilitate referral business.
We researched the industry to better understand how other building companies presented and marketed themselves. We looked at their propositions so to understand how McKeon Homes could find space and differentiate. A SWOT analysis on the company was conducted to see where the opportunities were.
Designed a strong identity and tagline for McKeon Homes. A simple but effective website was designed which reflected the company’s identity, service offer and business approach. mckeonhomes.ie Targeted SEO was undertaken and content developed for the site, which communicated what the company could do but also what they were like to work with, which was not apparent with other building company websites. Corporate identity, signage was designed and printed.
